APG Cash Drawer has expanded the heavy duty cash drawer<\/a> product line with the introduction of the Series 1517 EU Compact for the European marketplace. Like any APG heavy duty drawer, this drawer features steel construction, industrial grade steel ball bearing slides and is tested to last beyond 4 million operations. „The EU Compact fits a common European footprint but offers the superior durability and dependability that is expected of an APG cash drawer,“ says Jack Brown, Product Manager for the Series 1517 EU Compact at APG Cash Drawer. „The EU Compact’s rugged design ensures that it will operate flawlessly for the life of the POS system, even in the toughest environments.“ The EU Compact features an adjustable 4 bill, 8 coin till that accommodates both Euros and Sterling. Till covers and weighable coin cups are available from APG to complete the solution. Optional security features for the EU Compact include 160 mutually exclusive lock codes and a night security feature, which keeps the drawer open once the till is removed.
