APG Cash Drawer has introduced a heavy duty<\/a> Flip-Top cash drawer to the US marketplace, which is tested to last for more than 2 million operations. APG’s durable and dependable Flip-Top sets the standard for retail and is routinely tested to ensure the lid will open consistently beyond 80\u00b0. A long time favorite in the European POS industry, the Flip-Top cash drawer is now earning interest in the United States. As the Flip-Top’s name suggests, the lid the drawer flips open to provide access to the till. The Flip-Top is a narrower-depth cash drawer that provides easy access to the coin cups and vertical bill storage whether the clerk is seated or standing at the Point of Sale. According to Jack Brown, Product Manager for the Flip-Top at APG Cash Drawer, „There are many retail check out stations that can be improved by using a Flip-Top cash drawer due to the components required.
