According to you, what are the main trends and innovations in your market ?
Recent European shopper studies unsurprisingly revealed that queuing is the biggest pain point for most retailers. If the checkout process is over five minutes you are in very real danger of losing a sale due to customer walk outs. (Recent studies of European shoppers confirm that queues are by far the biggest customer pain point. Wait longer than 5 minutes and you run the risk that your customers will abandon their purchase and turn to one of your competitors .) Given the ease and speed of online shopping, retailers are constantly driving to improve the customer’s in-store experience, especially at the point-of-sale. mPoS solutions offer relief at peak times, the ability to open new lines quickly, reducing wait times. Store assistants can use mPoS solutions to enhance service, taking the sale to the customer, teeing orders up at the point of decision rather than the point-of-sale. (It’s so easy and fast to shop online that retailers must constantly improve the in-store customer experience, especially at the point of sale. Now available as a mobile solution, this new feature provides mPoS devices remote access and will revolutionise the way cash is managed at the PoS.
