Olson, President of APG Cash Drawer since 1988, has been active as a vendor member of the RSPA and been seated on RSPA’s Board of Directors since 2009. The official election announcements were made at RSPA’s RetailNOW 2011 awards banquet in Orlando, FL. Olson’s election marks a historic moment for the retail vendor/reseller community. He is the first-ever vendor member to hold office as Chairmen-Elect of the RSPA association. “We’re in an interesing and challenging time period where the industry is changing right before our eyes” stated Olson. “I am truly honored to be in a position to help the association represent the interests of the industry, and to help the members be stronger, more relevant, and help the industry grow.” In a recap of RetailNOW 2011, Jim Roddy, President of Business Solutions Magazine stated, “Olson’s election is a significant event in the RSPA’s continued transition from an exclusive dealer organization to an inclusive industry organization.
